If you’re not familiar with Amazon’s annual Prime Day 2021, it’s essentially the Black Friday of fall that you definitely don’t want to miss. Last year was a little different because the annual sale event was pushed back due to the pandemic, but this year, the “Black Friday of July” is back on track and happening in the summer as per usual. Prime Day will run for two days straight this year (June 21 and June 22), with plenty of the same massive price cuts we usually see across all categories, from home appliances to beauty, and opportunities to support small businesses. And, Amazon Prime Day 2021 may not be live yet, but there’s already plenty of early Prime Day deals to take advantage of ahead of the massive shopping event.
Of course, as you probably guessed, you do have to be an Amazon Prime member to get access to this enormous sale each year, so if you aren’t already, it’s probably the perfect time to sign up before Black Friday 2021 season begins and the general holiday shopping season begins (after all, it’s closer away than you’d think). With your membership, you’ll get access to everything from Amazon Prime Video (Hello, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel!) to free shipping and access to Prime Music. (Seriously, it will be worth it for the two-day shipping alone.) If you’re on the fence about committing to a year-long membership, but don’t want to miss out on the massive deals to come, though, Amazon always offers a free Prime trial, which will allow you to participate in Prime Day—along with all of the other benefits.
